Mental Health Awareness Week 2020

Mental Health Awareness Week 2020 will run from Monday 18th to Sunday 24thMay 2020. The week dedicated to mental health awareness was set up by The Mental Health Foundation and has a different theme each year.  The theme for Mental Health Awareness Week 2020 is ‘sleep’ and focus on the connection between sleep (or lack of) can impact our mental health.

How Can I Get Involved in Mental Health Awareness Week 2020?

There are lots of things you can do to get involved with Mental Health Awareness Week 2020. A key way to get involved is to raise money within your workplace, school or local community. Not only will this raise funds for the charity, but also raise awareness.

Smaller gestures such as sharing mental health awareness posts on social media are also a great way of getting involved by raising awareness.

If you are thinking about running an event, The Mental Health Foundation will send you various resources that can help with your campaign, such as their green ribbon pin badges that can be sold for a small amount.
